MANGO YAM MASIAL
INGREDIENTS:
YAM (PEEL,DICE INTO CUBES)(TURAN PIECES)
MANGO PULP-3 TABLE SPOONS
SAUNF
BAY LEAF
ONION(FINELY CUT)
SALT
TURMERIC
RED CHILLIES
MINT OR CORIANDER LEAVES
OIL
METHOD:
SOAK THE DICED YAM PIECES IN WATER ADDING TURMERIC POWDER FOR 15 MINUTES.
THEN WASH IT WELL.THIS WILL PREVENT IRRITATION OR ITCHING IF THE YAM IS FRESH.
SAUTE THE ONION,RED CHILLIES AND MINT LEAVES IN A KADAI AND GRIND TO PASTE.
BOIL OR PRESSURE COOK THE YAM PIECES AND MASH WELL.
HEAT A KADAI..ADD OIL AND FRY SAUNF,BAY LEAF AND ADD THE ONION PASTE.
THEN ADD THE YAM,POUR SOME WATER IF NECESSARY AND COOK FOR A MINUTE.
FINALLY ADD THE MANGO PULP AND SWITCH OFF THE STOVE.
