Vaazhaikai(raw banana)mango podimass
Ingredients:
Raw banana-1
Grated mango-3 table spoons
green chillies
ginger pieces
curry leaves
turmeric powder
salt
mustard
urad dal
Method:
Cut the banana in to half and pressure cook.
remove the peel and mash the banana.
heat a kadai and season with mustard,urad dal and curry leaves.
Add the grated mango,turmeric powder,chilly pieces,ginger pieces and salt.
Add the banana mash and mix well.
Note:
Instead of steam cooking you can peel the banana first and the cut in to pieces.Par boil and then cook with the other ingrdients.this will be like a curry.
